  • Joseph Smith was never convicted, at least to my knowledge. But if you know of a reference, please tell me.

  • I can't tell you how much I love this video and how thankful I am that you posted it. I was baptized for only 2 years and this Church has made my faith in Jesus Christ stronger than ever. Yes, we Latter-day Saints believe in Jesus Christ and his great Atonement for mankind. We believe that God again spoke to men and He hasn't abandoned us.

  • The Book of Mormon has been changed PLENTY of times. Adam was not a god; he was just a man created by God. When the Lord Jesus spoke of a different flock in John 10; he wasn't speaking of the Americas. They have never found any archeological evidence of the Jaredites or the Nephi civilizations. Joseph Smith is false, just like Charles Taze Russell of the JWs.

  • They have found no evidence of the Nephi or Jaredites. Joseph Smith was a gold digger when he was young; there are plenty of accounts of his early adventures, like his wife. Also; Rutherford slaughtered people in the Mount Meadows massacre. Hardly someone to follow. The book of Mormon is false. I suggest you read a book called Kingdom of the Cults by Walter Martin. It explains everything, including the Jehovah's Witnesses.

  • How stake leaders will contact the area office (outside the United States and Canada) or Church headquarters (U.S. and Canada) following a disaster.

    — Contact information for the local government, the Red Cross and other emergency response agencies.

  • Its funny, The more people bring up trying to disproof our church, the more my testimony grows because I can always find GOOD evidence that the church is true and unlike other religions that have tons of contradicting stories and history. So I really have to (and do) thank these people that bring it to my attention. So thank you SECtennesseeSEC for making me do even more research to help my testimony grow. I hope your heart will soften one day and you can leave your opinions to yourself.

  • @SECtennesseeSEC "In this respect, the text of the Book of Mormon is on a much stronger footing because the entire printer's manuscript is available as well as parts of the original dictated manuscript and the 1837 and 1840 editions, which were revised by the translator himself. Because comparison with these early versions was possible, the 1981 edition of the Book of Mormon is the most correct ever published by the Church."

  • @SECtennesseeSEC "It is no secret that many changes and omissions occurred during the development of modern Bible texts. This creates a particularly serious situation because neither the originals nor even a complete second- or third-generation document of the Bible is available for comparison."

  • @SECtennesseeSEC "The same kind of editorial effort that has been exerted to correct and refine the Book of Mormon over the past 158 years has been occurring for centuries with the Bible. Students familiar with biblical research know that the reason there are several versions of the Bible in print today is that there are literally thousands of biblical manuscripts available, none of them originals, and all differ in various ways."

  • @SECtennesseeSEC "As we stated earlier, most of the 3,913 changes which we found were related to the correction of grammatical and spelling errors and do not really change the basic meaning of the text." (Jerald and Sandra Tanner, The Changing World of Mormonism, Chicago: Moody Pres., 1980, p 131, emphasis added)

  • @SECtennesseeSEC And I have done my research, QUOTE "At first, the 3,913 changes you cite sound rather significant. But if you recheck your source you will find that even the anti-Mormons Jerald and Sandra Tanner admit that the 3,913 changes were not really significant at all"

  • @SECtennesseeSEC Its no cult, and we are Christian.
