Hey there:
I noticed that you didn't use the little plastic dispersion screen provided. Did you get one? Just wondering... I've accidentally forgotten to use it a few times thinking that I'm using my other machine, and it makes an absolute mess and a difficult cup of espresso. Have you tried it with and without and have better results without? Please do tell. :-D Thanks for a beautiful little espresso making film. I like the backlighting with the moody music.

There's not much better than that morning ritual of making some good espresso. Nice video!

would you say the maestro is good for other brewing methods? such as french press, drip, etc? everything but espresso?

Great video, two questions:
1. What kind of Mod is on the maestro? I want to get it for my Baby Gaggia but the reviews for espresso have been mixed.
2. Is that a pressurized basket?

thanks., I have since switched to a Rancilio Rocky grinder, the Maetro is simply not good enough for semi automatics like my machine and your Gaggia.
2 issues with the Maestro, consistency and grind fine-ness. I have struggeled to get a similar shot to the one u see above, It CAN work, but more like once in 5 times of trying, so u end up wasting precious coffee. and when it does work its no where near is good as if you used a Rocky
no its not a pressurized basket...
