These cars have a lot of potential if u just put some time into them, I wish my bro wouldn't have been so lazy, he says his sucked but he didn't put ANY time into it, I would have fixed it up a little bit and repainted it, cuz it was purple, I would have painted it a nice glossy dark red, but at the time we had it I was only 7 years old:(

How much does it weigh? I'm trying to figure out how fast one will go if I put in some power.

@Bigb2059 this car weighs 1575... a stock bug is about 1900...I have all custom gear ratios so this car is not really fast, but it is very quick... 110 is top speed, a stock bug will do 140 with stock gearing if you make enough power to make it happen.

What head, cam/rocker, and carb setup are you using? What's the jetting/vent size?
Awesome machine you've got there!

@username10001 cb044's 42x37.5 w/my own port design, k-8 cam 1.4 ratios. carbs are 48mm idf's. the jetting I have found best for my setup and this is w/10.5 compression. for street I run 60 idle180 mains and 180 air correction. for track I run 60 180 and 200 airs. that video I was running the track setup and its not as smooth but makes more power leaning out the top end. the vents I custom shape myself and scuff with 60 grit, these are 40.25mm

whats the cc of this motor? did you use all aftermarket or the stock block, bus block? i was thinking of using a bus block and tranny thanks.

@292farmer it is a 2110cc motor 76mm crank x 94mm pistons...the block is a as41, so yes stock block....other then that everything else on it is aftermarket
