@PrescriptionSeven Both have roughly the same power, about 280bhp. And the sti's are better off the line. I have an Evo 5 dyno'd at stock level before a remap it made 274bhp @ stock boost on 95ron.
These are two older variants, no point talking about FQ's or Spec C's as they have nothing to do with this video.

@PrescriptionSeven Lame?? LOL The STI is better than the EVO in many ways, but the one thing it beats it hands down by is the character of its boxer engine, one cant tell an EVO from a ford mondeo!!

evos does have a bit less hp stock, but it has a better 0-60 time, its better in corners, has more potential then a lame as boxer engine, looks better, and has a better resale value..i can get into numbers if you want dude you wont be happy.
tell me why the less power evo always out preforms the almighty sti? huh tell me.. even the new 4b11 evox out performed the new sti.
btw dont make me bring in the FQ evos they will just stomp sti's all day.
