@tolanstout yeah, true that.. most of Van Nuys Blvd (& the valley in general) looks like Tijuana now. Even areas like Encino that were once predominately White/middle-class are fading fast. the Encino Man would have to be a cholo now.
Another 80s movie that showed Encino/the baseball fields on Hayvenhurst & the valley (Fast Times at Ridgemont High), would have to be re-cast to show the transformation of the Valley. Birmingham High which was used in that flick looks like a county jail. peace

It ended in the late 80's when the whites moved East to Sherman Oaks and West to Calabasas. Now it looks like Mexico.
