@romanphoenix999 The knight and the queen both shoot in 8 different directions. The knight is a better forker in the middlegame, both because it jumps over things, but also because it is relatively less valuable, so the knight can fork things that are defended (like rooks and queens) because it is willing to trade itself....the queen is less good in that respect. But on an open board, like wwwChesscom says, the queen's greater mobility is the best.

she can't move the way knights do. so in short, she doesn't have all the moves.
but i ain't creating an argument here, she is still the most powerful piece.

Pruess is such a great teacher!

How you get to be the king? Nahhh, it ain't like that.

The queen aint no bitch. She got all the moves.

you should upload in HD. even if you don't reacord in HD the quality of your videos still goes up on youtube.
Keep up the good work :D
If i can make a request, i would like to see some commented games. (like that player moves his rook to there so it defends... en to develop this strategy,...)

The best piece for double attacks? In closed games i think that would be the knight. They both attack 8 squares but the knight can jump over pieces.

@romanphoenix999 the best piece for double attacks overall. knights are good for double-attacks also because they move in a way that's different than all the pieces they could try to attack. still, over millions of chess positions, the queen's greater mobility is felt.
