Oh for fuck's sake... people like you have been saying that same tired old shit for years. He hasn't lost anything, you are just desperate for something to be cynical about.

people arent in the same mood their entire life you know. meaning at the time of performing here he is in a completely different than when he wrote this song. i think it's stupid to assume things about someone you can't possibly know anyway.

@reminouailhac thanks for the notation, it was nice of you. just one more note..he says "God's plan" at the end, which is what i take as an important part of the song's meaning.

What a guy! Love this song too. He's so cool and unique.
I don't understand the Beware hate, I think it's a superb album

Chords are as follows (in tune with his guitar)
(C) Oh, I know everyone knows the trouble (G) I have seen.
That's the (Am) thing about trouble, (G)
You can love (C) everyone as the eyes and ears to be where (G) I have been.
You can (Am) have that heaven here and not wait for (G) up above.
The (C) more I feel my(G)self,
the more (F) alone I am.
Though (C) you can't hurt me (G) now,
I still (Bb) feel (F) love's plan.
Now play :)

anbody know the chords??

Yes! This seriously made my day. This is incredible, and I was looking for an acoustic version of this. Does he play the whole thing? Or does he stop there anyway? I'd seriously pay money to have a video of the whole song...

There's an extended repeat of the programme on BBC on Friday, so hopefully the full song will be on, plus an interview I think. I'll try to upload whatever they show. There's three songs up at the BBC website but if you're outside the UK you won't be able to view them unless you can browse via a UK proxy.
