Well, I kinda thought so in the beginning. But! Tohru's love for Kyo opens her own essential goodness and great inner strength.  Look, the one who was never loved deserves love the most, and that's Kyo. Yuki does not have that dark monster side that cuts Kyo's chances to be fully accepted by anyone. Kyo's trapped forever, and Tohru's his only way out. Tohru would rather love closely someone like Kyo, someone whom the others hate and reject. Without it, we'd not have seen real Tohru to the full.

I love the ending of the manga everything was perfect and I could read it over and over again. It would make me cry 2 everyone that was paired up with everyone was great 2 sure some of them you can complain about but I think that all the couples in there are meant 2 be <3

i totally agree i was crying as i was reading where akito hurt her and she fell off the cliff and especially kyo's reaction when he heard about it and when he saw her and then i was crying even harder when he kiss her but that time they were happy tears! i am totally a kyoXtohru person, but in reality i am a MExKYO girl! lol
