I have a beautiful set of Anglican prayer beads at home, made of Mother of Pearl with San Damiano Cross. You can use whatever prayers you like on the Anglican rosary as it does not have an official set of prayers - unlike the Catholic rosary.

@ZZYY86 no but just because it isnt in there doesnt mean its not allowed .. there are examples of casting lots to discern gods will which is just a tool.. prayer beads are just that a tool .. the bible itself is a tool to understanding gods word its not unbiblical to use tools in order to aid you

@ZZYY86 yes it is there are many methods to use prayer beads but the main reason is for contemplation .. to listen to God speaking to us instead of us speaking to him.. the beads are to allow your mind to focus .. by fingering beads that part of our mind which wants to talk, keep on going, etc is distracted by the beads allowing for our minds to quiet .. then there is the method of each bead represents a certain thing if you go to churchofengland.dot.c o m there is a segment on prayer beads

I wish some one would lput a video on youtube about how to pray the Anglican rosary llike the catholic do for the divine mercy chaplet or their rosary.
