hello again Dale--I'm still at it--I'm 5 one-hour lessons deep, but continue to find most of my inspiration in replaying your postings. Here's a strange question (forgive me): do you happen to live in the Southeast? Do you give lessons?

how serendipitous. Well, if you happen to live in the Atlanta area, and are open to taking on a new student, I'd certainly be interested.

a quick question (btw fantastic arrangement of one of my favorite pieces of music--and you play it masterfully): i'm an extremely naive guitarist (only a week into it). I was wondering if your arrangement is designed for individuals with large hands, or if there even is such a thing...I have extremely small hands; even with the grand concert acoustic I bought, I can hardly stretch for the chords you've laid out. Will this get easier, or are some chords specifically for larger handed guitarists?

good question...i don't think arrangements are generally done with this concern in mind, but it is true that some arrangements or changes on the guitar are more difficult for some than others, if not impossible. A few things can help, like learning proper technique to get the most out your hands, and have a guitar neck that enables you play more difficult passages and doesn't hinder. Great to hear about your playing and know it will be a great journey for you!
