I just had an ingrown toenail removed surgically at the podiatrist's from both sides of the left big toe 3 hours ago... it was NOT really painful at all... he sprayed my toe first before the injection and the injection just felt like a small sting and didn't even hurt...nothing out of this world.. I was absolutely TERRIFIED of getting this since many people make it seem like the worst thing ever but it's not even all that bad at all....

Look people....this procedure does NOT hurt. Yeah, the needle is slightly uncomfortable but thats it so dont listen to these pussies saying it was unbearable

I just got this done today and it's not really that bad. But I do however feel a shit load of pressure pain but it's nothing I can't handle. The injection wasn't even that bad.

@killingu53 The shot hurts a little bit with the numbing, you'll feel a slight tingling pain, but it's highly peaceful pain compared to if you had no injection and you went through with the surgery, I MEAN SERIOUS PAIN IS IN THE SURGERY ITSELF. be lucky we have that numbing injection today.

@PROUDBORICUA13 What's the doctor? That's incredible, I've gotten around 6 ingrown toe-nail surgeries already. I get them commonly, around 1 time every 5 months. And if it doesn't hurt then I wouldn't mind, but the needle doesn't hurt? Are you kidding me? That shit goes all the way inside, when I get that shot, it just wants to make me break a motherfucking in half. Most of the people want to punch the doctor, the pain is horrible. Or am I the only one?

Holy Goddamn mother fucking Jesus shit. Can't they just knock you out before they stick the whole Goddamn needle in your fucking toe. Fuck! I'd much rather stick to at-home surgery and have to take out an ingrown toenail every couple months than do that! Shit.

never had the shot done on my toe, the needle bloody hurt when it went in at first (and i have tattoos so not bothered by needles) but on the plus side it wasn't actually that painful when the anaesthestic wore off. Although could only wear ugg boots but my toe was that swollen beforehand i could barely walk in any shoes anyhow!

Yeah the shots are painful, but your toe is so numb that you can't even feel the doctor touching it. Once anesthesia is gone, your toe will only hurt as much as it did before surgery and you'll be limping just cause you strains that it will hurt if you walk normally.

Had this done a couple hours ago, still dont feel anything... took 2 shots, first one was like a flu shot, second one hurt like FFFFFF but then they cut and you just feel like your toe is being moved around.

If you're having this done, don't worry... the pain lasts seconds, then its as if your toe didn't even exist.
