  • There is a website you can go on to get lyrics, chords and sheet music for this song...

  • I did a duet of this song with my brother for our GCSE music a few months ago - me on my piano and my brother playing acustic guitar. We totally rocked. And got an A* which, to be perfectly honest, we would take over the verb 'rock' anyday. We had to do it in front of our school which was horrible!!!!

  • It's very good, but is there a possible way you could write it down, as in sheet music because I never did that sort of musical reading

  • But he knows that its not (F) Fucking likely. Nice stammer : )

  • @TheShakey17 I'd say its just arpeggios man just take the notes of the chord and play 'em indivdually. Add in sus2 or sus4 if ya like

  • Fucking hero!

  • Hey man, what do you play with the right hand? managed to get all the chords down on paper. But I need to know what you play with your right hand?

  • Thankyou so much!!!! This was so much help, my family walked in on me trying to play this and said that it was the most amazing thing ever! I couldnt of learnt this without you! thanks so much! PS- just a question, When you play it, it sounds so much grander and flowing, when i do it just sounds a bit plain. I'm just playing the straight block chords, are you playing inverted chords or something?

  • thats great, but how about subtitles with chords, that will be great

  • You, sir, are a GENIUS!

I've now mastered the first section of this brilliant song thanks to you!

I'm self-taught at piano and this was incredibly helpful... Rather than just doing simple repetitive chords like most modern songs, Minchin uses a beautiful collaboration of different chords in just one line, and so thank you for going through each line like this. Wouldn't have been able to learn this song without your help!
