We went to the 2010 Prius roll out event at Ft Mason in San Francisco. It was cool they has two models of the 2010 Prius on display you can sit in and play with the new stuff. Outside they were demonstrating the newest feature to come from the Lexus, the self parking mode. It was fun to see, don;t know if it's worth the extra dough but it was cool to see. Shot this on my D90 with HD video.

  • It's a shame that a great proportion of the population will continue to hate this car for its attempt to lead the way for future electric plug-in vehicles [forgive me, but the Volt and Tesla are not even close to being affordable right now]. Its pig-shape-earned status of the lowest coefficient of drag attainable by any commercial vehicle is also, unfortunately, an icon of anti-hybrid individuals and groups who use its greatly imperfect Ni-mH batteries as a rally point for their........ "cause".

  • It's definitly ugly, but effective. We have a 2007 model and it really gets 50 MPG most of the time. I'm 6'2" and 250 lbs and I fit just fine. Not the sportiest car in the world but it does the job.

  • This is definitely one thing to be excited about the new Prius; I mean, it used to be only available on a Lexus model that cost more than $100k. Also excited about the new Prius' solar panel sunroof, among its gazillion other technologically advanced features that are not often immediately apparent.

  • It's kind of a cool feature, don't knwo if I would pay the extra $1K for it but I love the technology. The solare power to help keep the car cool is really great. We have a 2007 Prius and I love it, I was expecting to hate it but it's fine. I'm 6'2", 250 and it's fine for me, and it really gets 50 MPG!

  • i would love a prius for my first car.

  • its amazing yes..but its doing more i think..i thought you had to just leave it up to the car to brake itself...better doing it on your own.

  • *AMAZING*

  • does the 2007 model i-tec prius do this??

  • The idea good, but is one "BUT"... Prius can park provided that a parking lot not less, than in one and a half time exceeds length of the car: (

  • Actually the Prius was the first one to have it in 2004 in Japan. It was introduced to the UK in 2006 and of course in North America, we know it in the 2006 LS
