the motors in these things is crappy, i use a sewing machine a laptop and a mouse with 2 wires connected to the left click, that cost me around 30 pounds to make and a damned sight more reliable. schatten stuff is usualy good but this is overpriced junk.

@guitarandme777 That wire is called "magnet wire" basically it is copper wire with a very thing insolation layer on it. There are a lot of internet stores that sell this wire. You got to have some really thin magnet wire to make pickups though.

:O Did he just say ".. is an inexpensive..." Like really, someone with a little ingenuity could make something like this for a quarter of the price. This machine is not worth $400. If StewMac was smart they'd drop the price of these, and they would sell out in a day, and still make money.
