What's really amazing about watching these two play together is how they work as a team. All their songs are written around two very intricately-interlaced guitars, but when you hear them it sounds like one instrument. I think this is one of the best guitar teams in metal history.

I always love how even though Samoth is doing an actual guitar part all you hear in the recording is Ihsahn playing an intricate part and Samoth playing "KUGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGGHGH!!"
