I grew up on the south Texas coast. In the late 50's the two local hot rock and roll bands were "Vince Vance and the Valiants" and "B. J. Thomas and the Triumphs" (yes, that B.J. Thomas). They were both great bands and often played at the same clubs in a battle of the bands. I haven't seen Vince since those days until now on utube. Kinda sad to see him dressed up like a clown. He was a great rock and roller back in the day just being himself.

What? Musicians who can play? Singers who can actually sing? What? Where's the half-naked dancers, smoke, fireworks, 5 tons of amp-zillas, and strobe lights?
No wonder I've never heard of this band!! They're waaay too good!!
