Been a while since I have made a post, I have had some requests and this was one of them - sorry I haven't made it to the others yet, but I will as soon as I can.

As far as the rig goes, I've made a few adjustments. Just got new cables, a BBE Green Screamer, and this is actually being played through an old 70's Fender Vibro Champ instead of the Mesa. Also, my Jake Blade came in a few weeks ago, so I've been having fun messing around with that -

  • For those who have requested tabs for the Umphrey's songs, now that I am on Christmas break I hope to at least get a few of them written out. However, I can't promise anything, so what I will try and do is write out the ones that are in higher demand - either message me which ones you would like to see written out or reply on the comment boards on the songs and I will do my best to start with those that are requested the most. Thanks again for checkin out these videos!

  • is that the patented "Jake Blade" you're using?!

  • Yes it is - really cool little tool to have, I would highly recommend it to anyone that has a G&L or PRS!

  • would it have any problems working with a fender? not sure why it would but does it to specify those for a reason (other than thats what they use)

  • it is made to fit the bridge of either a G&L or a PRS - the fittings are different sizes for each of these bridges, as well as different from a fender. i have read about people sanding down the blade in order to fit the slimmer fender bridge, but as far as i know they do not provide a fender blade -

  • please send me the tabs for this song

  • Just like some of the other covers I have posted, I will gladly tab them out, only time-permitting. Unfortunately, school has taken up most of my time lately and I just happened to have a few minutes to spare to put up this video. As soon as I get the chance, a link to tabs will be posted here!

  • Also, your comments for "Rogues" has been disabled so I will tell you here that you reminded me of how much I love that song. So congrats on that haha.

  • Hell yeah man! You nailed this shit. I find it much easier to learn songs by ear when the guitar is isolated like this, so thanks for the post, you saved me the headache that I cause myself when trying to learn since I (stubbornly) choose not to partake in tabs haha.

  • Great job! I look forward to checking out more of your stuff...

  • Bro, that was pro!! I have a few questions for you though-is there any way the "Jake Blade" will fit an Epiphone Les Paul? and also- can you please send me tabs of Umphrey's Mcgee: Mantis-the third one on the live CD in Morrison, CO?

  • I have nothing but praise for this guy. Reminds me of a young me. I was once that focused on great music but I took my eye off the ball. Keep after it man.
