  • Quick

  • I like these tests. Like others have said, it does provide useful information plus its entertaining to watch and interesting if youre a carnut. If I had way too much money Id definitely get a big fast pickup. It might not be a sensible thing to buy but nothing is really sensible about loving fast cars and spending hours on the computer checking specs and dynos or drag racing. Its just fun for some, just like a big rumbling powerful and fast in a straight line pickup.

  • The truck looks good. A Nice TRC exhaust would be nice

  • you guys have way too much time in your hands.

  • @flatblackstrat Take the new Ford F-150 Ecoboost, its does very in 0-60 tests and it also tows very well, alot of reviews state that the truck handles trailers with ease, plus i see tons of them on the road hualing trailers. With trucks, power matters, as does the transmission. In drag races, those two factors often determine how well a vehicle does. So you can't really state that there is abosutly not connection between a trucks peformance on the strip and how well it handles a trailer.

  • @flatblackstrat Its only "useless" because your ignoring the real life applications of all the things that are being tested. And while trucks do act differently under heavy loads, you can use the information to determine how well the truck would preform while towing heavy loads. In that situation how well a truck accerates to lower speeds like 30 mph would be more relevent, as torque is more important at those speeds. Power is more important at higher speeds.

  • @rangerover06sc Another thought, trucks act completely different when under weight loads, either in the bed or on a hitch. This stuff is useless.

  • Nice truck .

  • damn! you beat me to it...i was going to say a ferrari in the baja...but now i do want to see a ferrari pulling a boat , in the 1/4 mile! hahaha

  • stick to performance cars for this type of testing...
