Enjoy! ;-)

You can find all XP drivers at HP's website, simply choose your OS (there might be problems with XP pro, so you should try to get Tablet PC edition somewhere, or simply go for Vista (real slow) or Win7 (faster than XP)

  • Ah okay, I heard that you can change the Video card driver to have transparent windows from NVDIA??

  • @MosieurChaz not entirelly sure, someone else mentioned, that it's integrated GPU, and people having heat problems with it, where solder comes off of tiny legs, the unit is attached to, real pain to solder them back.

    So short answer is no.

  • Which would you prefer to use? 32bit or the 64bit?? and What are you using now?

  • @MosieurChaz This tablet will only work with 32bit, it's single core CPU

Anyway from my experience, i prefer 32bit for more software support, less tehnical problems, however for best performance if you have high end PC with the latest stuff in it, 64bit will show way more performance.

  • were you able to install the network driver ?

  • @mvliviu89 yes, if i recall it properly, then ethernet was working out of box with win7 ultimate. Don't really remember, mate. Otherwise, the whole trick was to get driver files extracted and fed forcibly with XP SP3 compatibility on where setup.exe is the only way. You DO NOT use compatibility on self-extractors!! you extract, then find where it saved files and then feed XP drivers in.

  • Toshiba hard drive in an HP computer. lol

  • idk if you still check this, but i am currently trying to put windows 7 on my tc 1100.i have made the bootable flashdrive and have tested it on my laptop so it is working. when i try to boot from it on my hp tc 1100 it just sits at a blank screen with a blinking light. Why is this? the 1100 meets the minimum requirements for windows 7.

  • @delukard : Try out "wizcom" on google oder ebay.

  • @liop1986 The Display is broken. You'll have to replace it.

  • Can you tell me your product key if you install win 7 pro?
