[The best books ... for teens of all ages. www.60secondpicks.com] All Sal wants is to get her mother back. And to return to the farm she loves in Bybanks, Kentucky. And to get away from her horrible new life in horrible Euclid, Ohio. OK, so, Sal wants a lot. And as you can probably guess, she's not going to get it all. But what Sal is going to get is a road trip with her grandparents that will help her come to terms with the losses and the changes that are part of growing up. This cleverly-constructed story has lots of lessons about letting go and getting back, but it's also just an eccentric, one-of-a-kind journey that you'll be glad you went on, too.
I had to read it for school. I cried in the middle of class. Lol
