Yarna's a bitch. In Tales from Jabba's Palace she acts like Oola's friend, but then watches her smugly as she resists Jabba and laughs at poor Oola when she's screaming her last, terrified scream. Some friend.

The original scene always captured Oola's character better I thought. In the new one, Oola doesn't seem to know she's about to die until the Rancor is coming out. This one matches her backstory more, where she know's a likely punishment is a gruesome death, but she resists anyway, prefering it to Jabba's touch. When she falls in the pit, though we don't see her reaction, her screams from below seem to show that, although she accepted her fate, it still terrified her when it came about.

I don't understand why Lucas felt he had to change this. The song sounds fitting for the movie (not the pop sound like the edit version), the puppets involved fit well with the other puppet aliens. What's the deal, Lucas? Will you eventually make the ENTIRE franchise into CGI?
