@smartandsane Wow, I can no longer how I'm able to disagree with you in, and agree with you at the very same stime. Jack white is as close to jesus as i've got, but dex is fucking mad insane genius. Cut rock right down to what it was in the beginning, which is why it will always be so raw. Listen to a two piece doing covers all your life, but flat duo jets like.. raised the songs like zombies, maybe more frightening than the first time you heard the song.

every band takes inspiration from other bands, it's only logical for a 13 year old that sees jimi hendrix to say i want to be like that. Just as the beatles were influenced by buddy holly, and how the arctic monkeys are influenced by queens of the stoneage, there is no band in history that wasnt influenced by someone else. Even the sex pistols that go on about inventing punk, all had new york dolls and the stooges records. Thats the way music is and always will be.
