At last!!

This song is like solving a hard math equation o_O sound is not better than the other videos I've made, I put it a little louder than in the last Evergrey videos. The times in this song are sick!! I had to concentrate on the music, in fact it was funny to see that I moved my head in a "strange way" at the end... I don't remember that o_o... really.

Well this song is a tribute to my xpt700 (the song in the background of the xpt700 Ibanes's video) and my first one of Necrophagist (I want to learn "fermented offal discharge"), this band is AMAZING!! I wasn't a death-tech-metal lover, but they made me one. Took a while to learn it, the solo is SICK, but curiously the "chorus" .. is HARD as hell, even just to "recognize" the notes, then of course is HARDER to learn them and play them... but I'm comfortable now about how I play it. In fact I play it better in the other guitar (the neck is smaller), but I had to play it in my XIPHOS :D ...

  • i want to buy that guitar but i was wondering.

can you lower the tuning on it with your bridge edge 3 without your bridge go crazy and break all your strings like all other floating bridges?

  • what the hell?.. damn, man I have 2 floating bridges guitars, one is the Ibanez Xiphos with the edge3... the other is an ibanez gio (ok it might not be a really nice example)... I have both in "D drop" (DADGBE). I also have a friend with many guitars, even with a Dean Razorback (It might not have the best bridge ever, but still really nice) with a tuning in B#. And, really, I've never seen a broke string with any of my floating bridges guitars or his guitars.

  • Someone get me a barf bag, because this was fucking sick. I'm seriously considering going home right now and throwing away my guitar, because you have thoroughly schooled any hope I've ever remotely entertained of attaining near-awesomeness.

My hat is off to you, sir.

  • :S daaamn haha thank you, but dont do anything like, this is just houres of practice. Give to your guitar an houre or two of practice per day =) and go harder every time, there's no mistery in this haha. I bet you to do it, Im sure u can become better than me =) I'm really busy nowadays

  • This is awesome man and all by ear too, wow thats all that needs to be said. and necrophagist got me into death metal too :P amazing band. You should watch my epitaph from necrophagist cover and tell me what you think :P

  • Why would you post this when bombing the solo like that?

  • i have a bunch of high end guitars with floating trems, and i break strings all the time man! haha

  • yo need to untighten the springs under the guitar that pull the bridge so when you lower the tune it doesn't pull and break them

  • yes you can. just like perfectxinsanity1 said take the back cover off and adjust the tension in the springs. It'll take a little bit of tinkering to get the hang of a floyd/edge but once you can get it it's the greatest thing.

  • yeah, adjust screws in back of guitar

  • i got same guitars with .11 in C, holds tune extremely well(tune 1 time wen replace strings) and strings hold up well, good bridge

  • great job man, cheers!!
