HEB Crabs and Craw Fish

My local grocery store called H-E-B in San Antonio, Texas has LIVE crabs and craw fish in large tubs with no water crawling around trying to get out. I watched for about five minutes while children and adults pulled the arms and legs off these sea creatures. One crab had only one arm left and was trying to protect himself with his remaining hand while a woman tried to grab him and throw him into her plastic bag. They also picked the crabs and craw fish up with the kitchen tongs and threw them around like soft-balls. Not only were there two tubs of live creatures there was also ten pound sacks of craw fish all smashed together. They were still alive barely moving around in the tightly packed potato-like sacks.

As you can tell most all the crabs are now gone and you can see they're still alive and missing legs. They have no food and no water. You tell me this humane? I've contacted PETA and local authorities.
