i think belator is top flight and you are on track with alvarez being very legitimate. seeing the different mma outlets meld, at least occasionally, would be a boost to the sport, especially were it to be in a tournament format.

I've been saying since BJ and Aoki lost, that Eddie should be #1. The rankings used to go BJ at 1, Aoki at 2, Eddie at 3. Logically, Eddie should have moved up to #1, because he destroyed Neer as well, while the two guys above him lost. But no, Sherdog aka ZuffaDog, the "independent" website, largely pressured by Dana White for fear of blackballing, moved Edgar from 8 to #1, for DECISIONING BJ with a standing version of lay and pray. Complete BS.
