This is me doing kickoffs and punts from different angles during practice with my brother. This was shot in fall of 2005.

  • @tehnoobpark I've got his book on kicking an punting. It advocates a slight angle.

  • @DieselDigitBlackFoot Ray Guy holds it straight.. best punter ever.. had the best hang time in punting history and one time he punted one so high they thought it had helium in the football so they checked it... just search him if you don't know about him :)

  • No..Most punters hold the ball at an angle to get an easier spiral. I don't know any who don't.

  • great kick-offs, but his punts were disturbingly awkward. In fact, they looked more like how the Australian football players punt, by holdin the ball at an angle to get an easier spiral. Still he's got to be good.

  • dude you obviously have no idea what your talking about. Gabor is one of the best kickers and punters in Europe. Obviously on his punts he was just going quarter to half speed and barely kicking them. Everybody can tell you've only been kicking for a year when you can't even realize that. Gabor's even good enough to have been offered an NFL tryout. What have you got? Nothing. So shut your mouth before you prove even more how ignorant you are

  • dude u suck! ive only been a kicker for a year and id beat the shit out of ur kicks. u dont follow thru on any of them and they get no height.

haha why are u wearing a helmet?

  • not enough knee action

  • anyone got any tips on kicking i wanted to try for kicker on my team but didnt make it i need to be able to get some more distance on it i used to be good but now i suck so if u guys can break down the whole procedure for me i would appreciate it

  • Why not fall to the right? It makes sense, since most of your power is on that foot and you come down on it in an awkward position. Weird, but whatever.

  • go straight down the field on a kickoff. dont fall to the right
