(this amp has been sold) It has a pair of 6L6 tubes for power, and 4 12ax7 for the preamps and 2 6cg7 tubes, for the tremolo and reverb. Although they are rated at 30 -60 watts, I think that they sound closer to 20w and the smaller output transformer that is original on these gives them a unique sound, and high amounts of compression. An excellent amp for a recording situation.

  • Actually this is not the amp Jack White uses, though they are similar. This is the 1484, but Jack White uses the 1485.

  • First off amazing sound. absoulutely outstanding. And i was just wandering was the very beginning riff supposed to be or strongly influenced by the end by the doors. Im only sayin that cause theyre my favorite band. Listen to it and youll see what i mean ;)
