how many times you have to go thru on dialysis in a week? i know that you spend about 4 hours in the process but is this like everyday thing or once a month thing?
I'm thinking of becoming a dialysis tech. no experience on this and there's a school in my area. what could possibly the worst thing can happen in this process?

I'm a student trying to see how they do the hemodialysis treatment.....I think who ever the person is did a good job explaining the procedure while doing the hemodialysis treatment.......cause i needed that.

Happy Birthday .. one month late oops! Today is my dad's b-day exactly one month after yours ;)
I am doing well :) The kidney is hanging in there :)
I also learned that even though I have a kidney now to still not let blood work be done on my fistula because I don't want to risk Thrombosis and Stenosis (I have problems with my veins being too small as it is). I have learned soooo much! But am glad the kidney works! :) It is amazing how I was on dialysis for 6 1/2 years! I am greatful!

congrats! How's your new kidney doing? I am turning 26 this sunday and tomorrow the 14th of aug, i am getting my fistula catheter at 10:00am. i am pretty scared and all. my Nephrologist told me that i am pretty much ready to start dialysis. Once the surgery is done.
