Jose Leao Teixeira is a legend in the sport of BJJ. One of the original few members of the original Gracie Barra team, he has helped coach some of the sorts biggest names since they were children. From Roger and Renzo Gracie to tomorrow's champions, Ze Leao has been instrumental in the development of multiple generations of BJJ fighters.
In this episode of Real Rio Show, we take a look inside his academy in the beautiful neighbourhood of Gavea in Rio de Janeiro. We see the kids training, find out a little about his background, and the RRS cast get to train with this 6th degree master.
Teixeira also shows us a nice high percentage guard pass to submission finish, with amazing meticulous detail to the technique.
