Does anyone remember these? I'm guessing they were the Apple Jacks of the early 90s. I don't think they make Apple Jacks anymore, either.

Of course, this cereal also had a loveable cartoon character to go with it: Crunchasaurus Rex.

  • eating this watching TIny toons TMNT all the classics

  • Crunchasaurus was the best mascot ever. A badass purple T rex with the stealth skills of solid snake and the voice of Louis armstrong? And he gets the cereal and thwarts the humans, unlike that panzy rabbit.

  • There was TV in 1991?

  • I used to eat this cereal at camp all the time! Couldn't find it anywhere else though.

  • @sakeeah They were like Honey nut cheerios only alot crunchier, they were pretty amazing.

  • I remember that commercial. I must have been like 3 or 4.

  • Hands down, the best cereal I ever had. brings back memories of 91-92

  • That is just stupid! X-D

  • That's what I meant. We had them here until the early eighties, then they dissapeared. They soon gave us Cruncheroos, but they were garbage. Apple Jacks had been brought back on a limited time basis for years. They sold them in our area for awhile back in October, but now they're gone again. >:(

  • @sarniatownreggae

What do you mean "they wouldn't let us have Apple Jacks in Canada?" They sold it here, YEARS BACK. It was one of those cereals that my mom wouldn't buy for us very often. LOL
