Bioenergetic Bodywork Intro- Part 1

This is the first short video on my work as a Bioenergetic Bodywork Therapist.
Bioenergetics is a derivative of the work of Dr Wilhelm Reich who trained under Sigmund Freud in the field of Psychoanalysis. He noticed that people with emotional problems carried their bodies in various ways indicating stress and restriction. He soon started working on the body as a part of healing and formulated an understanding of atmospheric and body energy states. He eventually went to America where Dr Alexander Lowen trained under him and termed his therapeutic developments Bioenergetics. Another derivative is Core Energetics. My training was the standard Psychotherapy which I found to be shallow and without meaning and discovered Auckland Reichian Therapist Ken Busch at the end of my training. Ken had further developed Bioenergetics into Bodywork and I have practiced this method for 30 years now.

@hznfrst Some people are not worth arguing with! Your demeaning comment, calling bioenergetics "new age CRAP" can only be the result of ignorance. If you had any knowledge, you wouldn't be so arrogant. Calling the life work of one of the greatest psychiatrists, a dedicated scientist, a doctor who helped millions, a "phony", is not inferior nor superior as argument; it's simply obscure and ignorant. Instead of bowing to any opinions, mine or others, read a few books before asking silly questions!

Why don't you take James Randi up on his paranormal challenge? One million bucks if you can prove that you have any ability unexplainable by science - *real* science, that is.

@hznfrst What is New Age? Body work is nothing new and not associated with what you must be labeling so vaguely as "new age". I think you're looking for a different kind of information and judging a 3 minute video based on your pre-concepted ideas on different forms of psychotherapy. But then again, you might not know a lot about psychotherapy, unless you're a frequent patient.... : )
