I can't disagree with Savage here. US foreign policy decisions may inflame the symptoms but the root cause of the evil is a perverted ideology. That's why we cannot simply talk to these people. It won't work unless we make compromises, and you simply cannot compromise with fascists. Some of their ranks may not be beyond redemption but many of these people cannot be bargained with.
