I am glad Halo got abandoned because Neil gave us a sci fi gem called District 9. With Halo there was a big budget on the line, corporate executives breathing down your neck. District 9 is low budget and the creators had total freedom. This is what happens when film makers are allowed what they are supposed to do, make great movies.

@UnluckilyEnlightened I can honestly relate to that, as an example, my mum, just wants me to comply with whatever the hell she says without deeper thought to why I may do something eg, working on the computer. She doesn't see my point of view clearly, ill judges what I have to say, and frankly doesn't give a shit about what I do.

So if it's on a global level or domestic, yes, there always seem to always be this control, sadly. If only the world fully recognised imagination and subjectiveness

This movie basically says...in simple terms! Humans can be FUCKHEADS!

Freedom is a God Given right of all sentient beings..yet people can't respect this.We've become so hardened and all we care about is money and power..that we corrupt and enslave everything we tough.It's so sad.What we did those the Aliens in this movie..I know its Fiction but In real life we do this to everything...try to enslave it.Freedom is the right all of living things..and Governments can't handle this...FUCK THEM!!!
