The "Tea Party" has been mischaracterized since the day it unofficially started. Left wing, progressive Democrats don't understand the Freedom Movement because they don't take the time to understand it. It is a very complex, loosely affiliated group of INDIVIDUALS who seek to restore our Liberties as promised in the US Constitution and The Declaration of Independence. The Left Wing Media and the extreme left wing progressive Democrats have sought to make fun of the Tens of Millions of Americans who are determined to Stop this march towards Socialism and economic destruction.

okfirst of all the constitution has nothing to do with are economic system, and the Dec. of Independence is not law, nor dose it have any reliance to economics. 2ed most if not all western country have a socialist party, and the conservatives are what we here call democrats, and they see republicans as extremest like they should be.i have read john Locke,Karl Marx,Keynes,Smith,ect.and i know all american political documents better then you and there is almost nothing in this video that is right.

@FreeTheNation as a political science major i will say, your argument are wrong, and your fascist thoughts, because it cannot be seen as classic conservatism by definitions and is not to be taken the wrong way, as in naziism or racism of any kind, it is the moving back of social and economic past or roots, is not what america needs at this moment or any country for that matter. if you want this country to fall behind china, Russia, and some European powers for good then fine bea tea partyer.

Wrong again, my dear student. Please do more thorough research than this. The Declaration of Indepence is the ENTIRE FOUNDATION of both the civil society and economic system we use. I'm sure you have not studied the significance of the choice of words, etc. Secondly, the founding fathers researched all forms of economic systems. This factored HEAVILY into every aspect of the formation of our government and ecnomic systems.

Any person that ACTUALLY thinks that the constitution has nothing to do with our economic system can't begin to debate the matter.

The Declaration of Independence was adopted by the United States Congress and is part of the Code of Law in the United States of America. This is easily verified and proven.

The ENTIRE background of the ENTIRE argument about LIBERTY is the ecnonomics of NATURAL LAW as described in Two Treatises on Government by John Locke.
