  • Never heard of it happening

  • Yeah they'll get on plane with less power then a V, but if you don't have enough power to get the boat on plane you're better off with a V cause it will cut through the water easier.

  • Hahaha...That guy is full of shit. You'd need about 20hp to get it to go that fast.

  • Id say 10mph if you're lucky. Flat bottom boats tend to plow through the water vs cut through it like a v bottom. Now if you get a bigger motor and could get the boat on plane, it will cruise pretty good. Because then its not plowing the water, you'll be riding on top of it.

  • Never GPS'd it. But Im guessin it will do around 27-28 mph

  • No problem man...hope you like the boat.

  • A 90 HP jet is actually equivalent to 65 HP prop, so the j- ass who claims a 20 HP can do the same likely votes democrat and probably made other poor decisions throughout life!

  • these are intended to run in shallow water! Certainly speed and horse power is lost but neither is the lower end

  • Hey I have been hearing these transoms are snapping in rough water...like 7 pro's dropped the line...have they fixed the problem yet?

  • Flat bottom boats get on plane with less power than V-bottoms.
