Most amazing thing I have ever set foot on. She is truly a work of art and a war machine. Shes just plain beautiful.

I used to live in Pasadena,Texas. I was able to tour the Texas in 1987 and walk her decks. I was amazed. Totally taken back by her mighty size. I personally like dryberth

proposal number 4. I would like to return some day before I die to see her again. I am in

bad health however and just don't have the money for the trip. She is the most impressive ship that I ever had the honor to see first hand. God bless those who served

on her and hats off to the state of Texas for caring for her! Rick Starr

There would have been more... But the New York was toasted in an atomic bomb test and the Oregon was killed by the Navy and then turned into a barge.

Only Nagato was left afloat at the end of the war, but I didn't mean re-commissioning it for active service, I just meant preserving it for history's sake.
