When the student is ready, the teacher appears. I'm 51, and suddenly have urgent professional need of this information. Someone in Hollywood loves you.

A very clear, well paced exposition. No one could ask for more. An awful lot of teaching experience lies behind this and your other instructional videos. I can appreciate just how much as I am an experienced guitar teacher too Please keep these videos coming- you are performing a great service. Thanks.

Thank you for your comment. I do try to plan my videos and rehearse them at least a little bit. Praise from a fellow guitar teacher is very welcome.

Nice :D Good video, good quality. How to Gretschs suffice for jazz/swing?

Thanks for the comments. I think the Gretsch is a fine guitar forJazz/Swing, although it does have a somewhat different tone from say a Gibson humbucker. Also, some other players have an expectation of certain model guitars for styles of music, such as the Telescaster for twang. For Western Swing, it is probably the Gibson ES-175 style. When it comes down to it though, playing will overcome expectations.
