Armada 2005 against Toyota Aurion 6 speed Automatic with over 100 time racing (fast and light car).I got him from the take off but my ECU cut off coz i forgot to switch off the VDC, still was able to beat him in the take off but he got me at the end when i shifted by mistake from 3rd gear to Revers ( that is the loaud sound you hear at the end of the video). the car died on me and i had to pul over. lucky me i have a safety key in my trany to switch off the engine. I think the loud sound was a back fire. I started the engine and checked all the gears and worked fine..Now i know how fast my car and i am ready for a second shot..enjoy the fastest Armada..

  • O.o DUDE!! then your transmission broke

cause there is no way you can shift it to reverse for no more than 5 miles without blowing the transmission

  • my trany is ok coz of the technology that nissan have to protuct the trany from such a mistake. it only back fire and the car dies on me, i pulled over and pray first,,lol then i start the engine again and all ok...

  • ooooh mustve been the prayer lol

  • hahah yep you must pray before and after you race...lol

  • @REWej8 I would think there would be a lock, there's a lock on my 5 speed, and that's a manual, so you would think an automatic would have one. I have only driven an automatic one time, and it was freakishly boring, so I never invested much time into learning about racing them.

  • @cmf5198 you can shift gears in an automatic. you can actually go a bit faster through the gears but if you don't do it right it'll take way longer. I used to do it in my civic 4 door and I beat a couple people with it but I'm glad I have a 5 speed in my coupe lol. I didn't know you could go from a forward gear to reverse though. I thought there was a lock for things like that in auto's

  • 3rd to reverse ? lol that sounds crazy !! i think automatics would have it worst if you drove one you probably will go from d4 60mph on the h/w to Park just for no reason at all

  • @cmf5198... the other question is how do you skip 3 gears and go into reverse. must have got excited lmao!!

  • @DaNNYDarKSlidE ... then how did it go from 3rd gear to reverse in an automatic? lol

  • @cmf5198 lmao its not even a manual.

  • WOAH I thought you hit something at the end, then I read what you did. haha damn. your gears must be close if you pulled straight down to R. Good to hear you tran didn't blow though!

  • wtf are yall talkin about...i did the same thing in my 77 f150 while tryin to put her in neutral and the same thing happened...AND YOU KNOW WHAT?? started right back up...technology my ass

  • yep syncros would protect you. but usually there are no syncros for reverse, no need. you fist down from 1to2, palm up and away from 2to3 and from 4to5. 3to4 you back hand down, also for downshift 5to4 back hand. 4to3 point fingers down and make a claw, push up. each shift has a hand pos. see UUC motorwerks shortshift. race on a track, not on street. you could lose license car and or life because there's no control in environment. be smart, not stupid.
