Thats why you buy the extended warrenty! Sounds like your cousin isnt very bright buying a 30k vehical and not getting the warrenty. (no matter what vehical you buy)

dumb shit she bought it new and the trannys on these are guaranteed for life idk why chrystler would guarantee a shitty tranny like that. she never, i repeat never took that thing off the paved road, and the transfer case and everything blew. at 30k. and vehicles should last 250 no problem why are you calling her stupid for having 30k on it

You are the dumb shit.....(read) She wasnt very bright buying a vehical that cost 30k and not getting the warrenty. So if its garanteed then whats the prob? They should fix it then......Maybe she should look into the lemon law. EVERY MANUFACTURE HAS A FEW BAD APPLES.

course she got the warranty, and of course they fixed it. my point is, a tranny should last more than 30 k. does on every other vehicle. and chrystler sure has a lot of lemons- the new six speed trannys on the ram only last about 45k under normal circumstances. Thats why they're going down the shit tube- they guarantee shitty products and expect to make a profit. you shouldn't have to be bothered with tranny problems till about 250k or so. on any vehicle

Why do you have voice coming through one channel, and music through another? So irritating!

My wife and I got an '08 Rubicon 4dr and just love it. We've been through rivers, climbed a rocky river bank...maybe not rocky as some of the rock climbers on youtube, but it was fun all the way.
The drawback for me is its almost vertical windshield...2nd one needs replacing in 2010...damned rocks...no real angle to help deflect it. Otherwise, love it... :D

Oh...and I agree with TheJeephistoria...it should come as a diesel option...that would be great.

That is a possibility when the 4dr gets paid off. The 2dr would be my toy... :)

@TheJeephistorian we get a 2.8 Turbo Diesel version of the Wrangler in South Africa. I think Jeep had to get a diesel engine for the SA market, otherwise they wouldn't have sold any. All our trucks in SA come with a Diesel option and it's the most popular one. Any diesel vechile just takes you so much further in African conditions.
