Sweetwater's Yamaha Piano Store Grand Opening Event

On August 2nd, 2011, Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne, IN became the region's exclusive Yamaha Piano and Clavinova dealer. Sweetwater founder and president Chuck Surack introduced the new piano store along with David Myers from Fred Meyers Pianos, Bob Heller from Yamaha Pianos, and our very own Mayor of Fort Wayne, Tom Henry. Introduced by Yamaha consultant Craig Knudsen,
the featured event was iconic pianist Mike Garson performing live from Yamaha's corporate offices in L.A., on a Yamaha Disklavier. The performance was transmitted in realtime to a Disklavier in Sweetwater's showroom via Internet.
