yeah, it's definately a red squirrel. has it been eating peanuts or something?
-
its a fucking squirrel who care?
-
That definitely looks like a red squirrel to me. I was just feeding one by hand and actually petting it. Here in Maine, red squirrels are about 60% as large as a gray squirrel. Gray squirrels are prettier, but red squirrels are cuter.

I would like to get one as a pet.

ive shot many gray squirrels and chipmunks, but never a squirrel like this.
-

thesquirrelcam, you have me convinced, you know your squirrel,s better than I do, like you say it's bigger than the UK red.Over the last 50 year's the population of the red squirrel have suffered markedly in the U.K,displaced by the grey squirrel. Thank you for posting.
Sorry,he looks too big for a red squirrel, plus the colour is wrong. The red squirrel,s we have in the UK is much smaller & a much deeper red colour.

burththay, I can't seem to convince you folks in the UK, Alaska only has Red Squirrels and Flying Squirrels. It is a Red Squirrel and it may be bigger than the reds you have there in the UK. Nonetheless. Trust me, it's a Red Squirrel...

Trust Me lou5811lou, it's a red squirrel. I've lived in here in Alaska off and on since 1956. There is no grey squirrels in Alaska. Only Red Squirrels and Northern Flyers.
