  • I found it: The video is titled only Baden Powell, that's why it took me long to find it again. But it shows Barouh and Powell.

It was uploaded by senjumnk on Jun 30, 2007

  • Hey, say! I also found a video featuring Paden Powell and Barouh singing together, both language, each in his own. Beautiful. I knew they were friends, but did nor know about the video. Its named Baden Powell posted by ... (Forgot. I'm gonna check and come back.)

  • Watch also Un Homme Et Une Femme ~ SAMBA SARAVAH posted by rive5gauche. It shows this part of the film, with Barouh singing to his wife. It´s sheer fascination! Perfect images,. And it also has subtitles in English.

  • You can also listen to the original version, by searching for Samba da Benção, its title in Portuguese.

  • Correcting myself: I mispelled Barouh's name in my message below (written in French). It´s Pierre Barouh, not Baroux. Sorry.

  • Your video is great and I thank you for having posted it. But I have to rectify the credits: music by Paden Powel and original words in portuguese by Vinicius de Moraes (both Brazilian). The French words were written by Pierre Barouh who is singing it here. He even mentions Vinicius and other Brazilian song writers. Bossa Nova songs are my very youth, and I have no words to express the nostalgia I feel. Thanks again and best wishes from Rio de Janeiro. Sincerely, Cristina.
