  • Last weekend Ikeda-sensei was here in Finland. He is a very nice man and an incredible teacher. He showed us the goal and a way how to start reaching for it. He brings together different styles. The best seminar I have ever attended, and I have attended some good ones!

  • nice to watch... I hope some day the 'Seagal' way of aikido is banned ...

  • I followed a seminar of multiple days with Ikeda in the Netherlands... he makes it look so easy, but it is really hard :) He takes your balance (and I've experienced it multiple times) without so much as moving a muscle. I REALLY wanted to hold him and not fall myself, but somehow you can't stop it.

  • we have him for seminar next month - can't wait..

  • "aiki-ameoba" -- lmao.. that's exactly what i am - thank u!

  • Ma vaffanculo!!!!

  • met him year ago in a seminar - he is truly a blessed teacher and has a nice personality - feel lucky to have met him

  • Hiroshi Ikeda is The Man. Many years ago when I was just an aiki-amoeba, I went to a seminar of his. He most graciously came around the mats helping us. He asked me to grab him katatedori (same side single-hand wrist grab), the most basic aikido attack. And he somehow threw me - well, since I knew nothing about anything at the time, he mostly just pushed me back - without visibly moving a single muscle in his body. In a big way, Ikeda Sensei got me hooked on aikido in that one moment.

  • This guy is outstanding.

I bet his thinking way is great too.

    Thanks for he clip.

  • This is great....
