Somewhere in the universe, an army of Maximals have launched an attack on a Predacon fortress, belonging to the leader, Magmatron! Unable to defeat his forces, the Maximals are blown away. However, a single warrior is able to breach the defenses. His name is Big Convoy, and single-handedly, he defeats the Predacon leader. Much to Big Convoy's dismay, he has been assigned to lead a group of rookie Maximals by the Convoy Council.
