Look at that SHO haulin ass! My family had an 89 with a 5 speed when I was a kid and I remember the old man pullin away from a 5.0 stang of the same year
Ya,,, the ricers.... they just don't get the whole SHO "built not bought philosophy". We have very little support outside of our SHO community. But then again,,,We don't need any!!!
I have a 89' with a pile of mod's - Vortech 9lbs, 48lbs injectors, Shonut fuel pressure regulator, 255l pump, Quaifed and shimmed 5 SPD, Tokico/Intrax, BBB's and a whole lot of other items. The car never fails to put a smile on my face. I got it to a point that it is pretty reliable.
@northwestvoodoo Yes sir I am. I am not a racer though per se, its a street car. It is great fun to drive though, shows up ricers on a regular basis. I put the 3.0L cams back in which gives a little extra umph I think. I don't ride it too hard though as I want to look after it. Thanks for the feedback.
Yes the Quaife is a great piece to have for laying down power in the corners and not losing your diff pin. Your 3.2 swap must be sweet. Are you running all your 3.0 accessories?
@northwestvoodoo It sure is man. I have the same car, but with the 3.2 dropped in it. It hauls some serious ass, and with the Quaife can corner like nobodys business.
Good driving, nice and smooth. But ,,, if I'm not mistaken,,,that is a 1989 Taurus SHO your chasing in the first part of your video. For a four door grocery getter, that thing is fierce!!!

ricers, lol. They can't drive period. You never see them doing any real racing, just jerking around and smashing up their honda and bmws.
