A video produced by the Schenectady School District on interdisciplinary education. Bernard Sullivan created a unit on floating and sinking, using terms such as mass, volume and buoyancy. At the conclusion of the unit he treated his science classes and the entire school to an inflation of a hot air balloon. The Yates Arts in Education Magnet School took the assembly to the next level by turning it into a school-wide interdisciplinary topic using subjects such as history, math, science and art.
