Wolf's Rain OST 19/21(One of my favorites!)

Artist: Yoko Kanno

Vocalist: Joyce

Lyrics:

Run, wolf warrior, to ends eternal
Through the wreckage of the death of the day
Scent of silence under starlight spinning
A captured beast within a human skin

Are you searching for long lost landscapes
Lit by flowers and crystal cascades?
Where the lamb lies down with the lion
Where the wolf is one with the wild

Run, wolf warrior, through kingdoms' chaos
Senseless cities and ghost towns towering
Howl, O hunter, though few know you're crying
Face upturned into that midnight moon

Are you hunting for mystic mountains
Where the air is like liquid laughter?
Where the beasts inherit the earth
Where the last again will be first

Run, wolf warrior, to hide your hunger
The rain will wash away the pains of the day
In your eyes there are cold fires burning
Tongues of flame that can never be tamed

Are you running from Man's delusion
Majestic madness and your exclusion
To where the lamb lies down with the lion?

Are you running down ancient pathways
Through this dark and deserted land
To where man is once more a child?

Are you running to freedom's fortress
By the side of wide open seas
Where the wolf is one with the wild?

Run, run, run...

Run, run, run, run, run, run on, run on through the rain...

  • i wish i was a wolf

  • Wolves are always going to be searching for paradise until man dies out. Every time they find a new paradise man destroys it right before their eyes. Whenever wolves run in a pack it is for freedom. But man takes the freedom from them and steals their pray, home or even life.

  • @JewelTheMacaw They actually run in packs to hunt...

  • I wonder why people are talking about man hating wolves. We gave the Gray Wolf thousands of acres of land up north and they aren't even on the endagered species list anymore. America does everything they can to save them, though i can't speak for other countries. Man does love the wolves. It's that handful of idiots who thinks they have no meaning and don't care about them.

  • @tomtolbert32 well not this music, nor the music i'm used too and so love more than anything. Nature is stunning, but in my life, there must be more than that. If you would be totally into nature and would really like to be a wolf you wouldn't be on youtube

  • @Homeybunchbunny...You must Know that wolves do have music. I have sat and listened to some of the sweetest music in the world as the pack went by in Alaska. This was the music of Nature, which you seldom hear now. Can mankind not learn? Please try to hear her more often. Be at peace...Little Owl

  • @sidmvz I think the meaning it's not to be a real wolf... just a wolf like soul. The type of person who doesn't fall beneath the illusions created for society, instead, they keep looking for the paradise, theyr own paradise.

  • Wolves don't have music. Wolves eat their children in tough times. Wolves have to fight for their rights. They have to hunt and kill every time (if not, they die) Wolves have tough lifes. :3
