My cunt of a father was abusive, and well, used to beat me up. He used too swear so much, it had an effect on my vocabulary when I was younger, (I constantly used to words, fuck and things).

My mum left him when I was 8, but I have to say my life has basically taken a turn for the worse since I turned 11.

My mum was depressive, (telling me she wanted to die an early death when I was 5). Still, too but it bluntly, I hate both of them and my brothers.

I never met my dad before i would love to meet him even if he was a bad person i know it sounds weird to say. My mom she's on drugs and it's been pretty bad. So me and my mom's relationship has been really bad all my life.

yeah same here, i have a more close relationship with my father than my mother. And I know how I get into a lot of fights with my parents, be it serious or as a result of me and my stupid teen mood swings, but I just have to think of the 16+ hours a day my dad & mom work to keep our family alive. Then I shut up & I'm grateful.

@purerandomosity i hav the EXACT same situation as u. i'm close 2 my dad but at the same time i see my mom more cuz my dad travels alot. my mom is a perfectionist, and expects a lot out of me.

I have good relationships with my parents. I talk to my mom about anything (almost), and with my dad, well, he will randomly say ideas for the day and we'll go and do them (ie. One time he said "hey let's go to the mountains" and then we did). My dad smokes but doesn't know that I know, but I wrote a science essay about how smoking is bad for your health and the enviroment, and I think he's trying to stop now. But I wouldn't know for sure, because he doesn't know I know.

My relationship with my parents depends on the situation, like if I'm fighting with one I'll side with the other. But in my case right now,

im cool with both my parents :D but the weird thing is, I'm close with my mom and I'm close with my dad but my mom and my dad aren't close anymore ever since he cheated...

well mines....i honestly dnt even feel like my parents are my parents because they are always diong their own thing...sadly....and they never really spend time wit me n my siblings.

im trying to get close to my dad but the thing is i haven't seen him for 13 year like practically my whole life he just started calling me and telling me that he wants to be a part of my life i dont really want him to be but i want to give it a shot and give him another chance. Oh and me and my mom are not close at all we fight a lot and end up pissed at each other for weeks but we always end up making up. The thing is im scared some day we wont be able to repair that damage.
