Pushing Me Away (A Jonas Story) Ch.9

After commercial ended and as the workers got Bella from the green room, the atmosphere was so exciting on set.
Nick: I present to all of you, my girlfriend !
As the audience screams, the screen is lifted and Bella is revealed. As she walks over to greet Jimmy and the boys, they scream even louder.

Jimmy: Wow! Bella Santos! Didn't see that one coming. You look gorgeous today.
Bella: Why thank you. It was for you actually. *gives a radiant smile*
Jimmy: Well I'm utterly flattered. It looks like every album your mom works on turns into a hit. And your sister Britt is strong on the dance end of music as well. I swear I've seen her in at least 10 videos just THIS month.
Bella: Yeah, I'm part of a very gifted family. *laughs*
Jimmy: So are you going to break out with a singing career anytime soon with your mom producing and go on tour with the guys?
Bella: *smiles at Jimmy* I am joining them on tour, but only as a guest, I'm not going to be performing with them. I'm focusing on school right now but since I'm finishing a year early I'm trying to decide what I want to do. I don't think I'm that great of a singer to have it as a career, but I would love to dabble with soundtracks and such. I'd love to act and write more though. Maybe soon down the road I'll have a career in something.
Jimmy: Beauty AND brains ? What IS wrong with you? You're absolutely amazing. If it helps jumpstart your career, let me just say that I'd go see or read anything that you do.
Bella: *laughs* Well thank you. I don't know what my flaw is but I'll be sure to tell you once I find it so you don't keep thinking so highly of me *laughs*

Jimmy: So how is it being Nick Jonas' girlfriend? Must be very stressful being enemy number one to many fans.
Bella: I'm still trying to get used to the situation really. When we're together he's not a Jonas Brother, he's just Nick.
Jimmy: So is it true that you have NO idea what's going on with Nick lately?
Bella: I really have no clue, but Nick promised that I'd find out today. But from the reactions everyone has, I kind of don't want to know. *laughs*
Jimmy: Well good luck my boy, hopefully she wont kill you. *laughs*
Nick: *laughs* Oh she wouldn't do that. But she gets very intimidating when she calls me Nicholas. Then you can tell she's awfully frustrated with me.
Bella: Hey! I do not ! *makes a silly face*
Nick: *smiles*
Audience: AWW !
Jimmy: *laughs* So how did you guys meet?
Bella: Well that story is way too long to tell right now but I've known them for a few years now because after their first album came out, they moved into my street, and ever since then they've been very good friends of mine.
Jimmy: What a lucky girl you are.
Bella: *looks at Nick* Yeah, I am. *smiles*
Jimmy: You've got a great girl with you Jonas.
Nick: *not breaking eye contact with her* Yeah, I really do.
Jimmy: Well I wish this interview wouldn't end but it's time for the boys to perform. What are you guys singing tonight?
Joe: We're singing our single Burning Up.
Jimmy: Well check out their new CD, A Little Bit Longer, out in stores August 12th. Thank you Jonas Brothers so much for coming, as well as you Bella, be sure to come back.
Kevin: It was our pleasure.
Bella: Thank you for having us.
Joe: We'll be sure to come back soon.
Nick: I'll bring Bella just for you Jimmy. *wink*
Jimmy: *laughs* No wonder all the girls love you. You're all charmers. Everyone give it up for the Jonas Brothers and Bella Santos!

The audience goes crazy as the guys, Bella, and Jimmy head outside to the stage. Their performance goes great and when they head to Pinkberry before dropping Nick and Bella at home, they are swarmed with paparazzi.

Joe: Great job Bells!
Kevin: You handled that interview so well.
Nick: It was like you've been doing interviews as long as us. *puts his arm around her*
P: Oh! Quick! Take a picture!
P: Bella, you look beautiful today!
P: You guys make a great couple!

They get some yummy Pinkberry and after signing tons of autographs for fans they start to drive back to the Jonas house. Just when they pull into the driveway of the Jonas house, Nick's phone rings. When he looks at the caller I.D. he looks shocked.

Nick: Guys can you open the door for Bella? I have to take this call.
Kevin: Uh, sure. Let's go guys.

Everyone gets out of the car to give Nick some privacy.

Bella: Who do you think it is?
Joe: No idea.
Kevin: but I'm sure it's important.
Bella: Yeah.. I guess.

They open the door for Bella, the guys fix their hair, and Bella sits on the couch and turns the TV on.

Nick: Hello?
???: Hey Nick!
Nick: OMG, IT REALLY IS YOU!

Who's the caller? WHAT are Nick's scandals that got Bella to help him in the first place? The next one is gonna be spicy, so stay tuned for the next Pushing Me Away!
