@jus464 Some Korean Movies like Chaser, Old Boy, I'm a cyborg but that okay, The host are shown on TV in England late at night. Also Chinese , Japanese, Spanish and Russian films. Most of the Korean movies I rent from DVD rental club or I can buy some very cheap from online retailers.

@Raider577 Of course haha I think u'll like it. Btw u watch quite many Korean movies. From England?
-
@jus464 Yes I hear it's shocking. I have it at home but haven't watched it yet I will this week.
Choi Min Sik and Lee Byung Hun are awesome. I have bought ' The Good , the Bad the Weird' haven't watched it yet. Have you seen it?
-
@Raider577 OMG 'I saw the devil' on blu ray LOL
I've watched it recently and... shocked haha
-
@jus464 I suppose you are right. I probably don't pick up the Korean themes. Though a film like The Host I
prefer to American monster films. I saw a Korean film not famous in Korea called Breathless I think in Korean it is called donpong or dongpauri I'm not sure. I also saw Housemaid think in Korean called Hanyo.
I have ordered I saw the Devil on blu ray.

@Raider577 you've watched many haha. Yes, themes might be similar as they are 'movies' in first place :P but ways of dramatic interpretation for the themes are different. Korean movies usually have cultural things which are very Korean(sound weird, rite? -_-;;) For example, movies like 'The host' or 'The war of flower' above. I'm sure u can find it soon. My English is not enough to explain to u in detail, sorry.

@jus464 Well a few Korean films I've seen and have on DVD titles like Cello, A Tale of Two sisters, The Host,The man from Nowhere, , Welcome to Dongkampol, Tidal Wave , Dollmaster, Thirst Princess Aurora, to name a few. They seem to discuss the same themes and issues as American films and have similar type of humour. I presumed Korea was more conservative, society. Yet when I see the films with violence, swearing, sex, incest and some other things I found it suprising.
-
@Raider577 I don't agree with you. What Korean movies have u seen exactly? can u illustrate some?
-
@jus464 Nearly all Korean movies I've seen are virtually no different from western or American films.
